2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz old-fashioned cocktail syrup
2 dashes Aromatic bitters
Orange or lemon peel, for garnish
Maraschino cherry, for garnish

Instructions:
In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, old-fashioned cocktail syrup, andAromaticbitters.
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for 20-30 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture.
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with a large ice cube or a few smaller cubes.
Express the citrus peel over the cocktail by holding it over the glass and giving it a good twist to release the oils. Optionally, run the peel around the rim of the glass to add more aroma.
